turn off your computer, unplug from power source, open CPU casing, Carefully Pull out RAM, replace Ram tightly and securely. put back the casing cover. plug your PC and turn it on. do this solve the problem? just give me the nod (10 pts) if it does. :)
if you had something laying on the keyboard it will do this...
was anything touching the keyboard on startup?

Yes my computer at home does that when I turn it on and all it is is the modem telling you it has all your worked saved.
Those are BIOS (POST) beep codes. The number of beeps tells you if there is a specific problem. This depends upon your system. You can see what the codes represent at the webpage below.

it sounds like you have ram issues, try reseating the ram sticks and if it continues to do this you may need to replace them. if it is still under warranty take it back to be repaired
I faced the exact same issue with my HP Pavillion dv6000z laptop. First time I sent it to HP for repair. It happened again and this time I just close the lid of the laptop after hearing the beep. Keep it like that for about a minute and then open the lid and press the power button to turn it off. Then press the power button to turn it on again. This fixes it.
If you go to the link http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm... you will see that 1 long and 2 short beeps mean that it is a Conventional/Extended memory failure. It also says that this Indicates a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information
