important factors to consider
1. of cause money
2. processor speed and type
3. memory
4. VGA card type and VGA memory if u want better graphic
5. Hard Disk
4. weight and size. I think u don't want to carry like the computer that has same size and weight of ur desktop
5. keyboard, i think it is important as u have to use the keyboard for next 2-3 years
6. tablet pc or not.
7. brand (Dell, HP, Compaq, IBM, Ausus,Fujitsu,Acer)
( I'm not Toshiba fan. I think it is expensive and not better. But it is better than Acer but in term of money Acer is cheaper.)
online shop
just go to their web site for detail
You should purchase a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092.
Dells are very popular they can be purchased from Dell or ordered from a Mall kiosk. HP and Toshiba are sold through the big electronic outlets and you can sometimes get a good deal as well as doing hands on comparisons. For basic home use you can choose either a mainline 15.4 inch or desk replacement 17 inch screen. Top CPU is Intel Core 2 Duo, you want 2GBs of RAM, a HD of at least 80GBs, a bright screen, and a dedicated graphic card for games and graphics.
The parameters are :-
1) Memory space, 2) speed, 3) latest technology, 4) after sales service, 5) market brand value, 6) other consumers' experiences on the same brand, 7) portability and size, 8) price, etc.
The popular brands are Apple MacBook, HP Pavillion, Toshiba, Sony VAIO etc.
Buying offline would be better. But still if you insist on buying online and try to be 'cost effective', then you can have it at the following link with the purchase of a free bag. The link is :-
