How do I run Infared on my Laptop?

On a Vista Laptop.
- Click on the Start Icon and then go to "Control Panel"
- In the left side of your "Control Panel" window , click on Classic View.
- In this View you will be able to see "Bluetooth Devices" icon, double click on it.
- In the options tab check the box that says "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer"
- In the just opened "Bluetooth" window. Click on add and add your mobile name.
- Make sure you put ur phone close to the bluetooth on ur laptop. Then you'll see your phone.
Note: if your note book doesn't have Bluetooth it will prompt telling you that there is no Bluetooth attached to your laptop.
If your laptop has Infared. then you 'll see "Infared" icon on the control panel.
- double click on it and scan for any new devices.
If your phone supports memory card. you should considering putting memory card into the laptop. Its faster and easier.

there will be an instruction book loaded onto the laptop, i got a sony vaio and there is on mine, it is brilliant for finding out hoiw to do things you are not sure about
