How do I watch european DVD's on a american Dell Latitude D600?

I don't care of the region code gets flipped to European permenently since I live here now I just want to watch some movies I bought in Europe on this Dell laptop that was bought in the US.

A free solution or cracked software is strongly preferred.

and also consider that if your dvd player play both -/+DVD's
doesn't matter the format you should be able to view them try this player.

got to slysoft.com and download Anydvd
well you should be able to set the region code on your dvd player. it should be somewhere in the preferences for the dvd player. most computer dvd players are switchable but only a limited number of times. but since you live in europe now it shouldn't be a problem.
no external software required. just check your dvd player preferences.
