For all intends and purpose, you CAN'T upgrade the video card on a laptop. You can't improve it either. Your built-in Intel 950 is a directx 9 card not directx10 and it's not a good one either. A built-in Nvidia or ATI is much better. You're pretty much stuck with it. It should work fine for normal usage except for PC games that require a more advance card.

EDIT: The Intel 950 is definitely NOT a directx 10 chip. You must have a different video card on your laptop. You can play directx 10 games with a directx 9 card but you won't get the directx 10 features.
I can't say i'm 100% sure, but most laptops that have Intel graphics cards are not upgradeable.
generally, laptops are not upgradable.
if you DO find and buy a grapics card, you will not be able to install it yourself.
The video card on laptops, except in rare cases, cannot be changed. The video card is soldered onto the motherboard and cannot be removed and replaced.
