Make my laptop continue to play music when I close it over?
i have a hp laptop (http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/ho/...
and if I'm on wmp playing music then close my screen over (if you know what i mean) it pauses all video and audio
any way to fix it?
my friend's got an older dell and it doesn't.

try this:
right click the battery icon on the task bar. choose adjust power properties.then choose advance..there's an option there "when i close the lid of my portable computer" click it and choose do nothing
Most laptops have a power option to turn puter off when you close it-turn yours off
goto start -> settings -> control panel
open the display control panel
click on the screen saver tab
click the power button on screen
click the advanced tab
change the when i close the lid of my portable computer option to do nothing

Check you laptop's settings, most laptops by default either go into standby or hibernate when you close the lid. This can be changed to "do nothing," at which point you should continue to get your audio.
