This seems to be a very nice HP, I personally have one (not that model) but I can tell you that HP are pretty good in price and also in performances, if what you are looking for is for school, not sure if you are looking HIGH end graphics, you might want to upgrade the VIDEO CARD for that purpose, perhaps with the one that is already in the bundle it seems to be a pretty good deal, and I think it would run smoothly since have 2GB of RAM that will help a lot when you are in the internet and have a series of applications running at the same time.
Perhaps, it all the depends of what use you are exactly trying to satisfy, Dual core processors are very dependable and very fast as well, so if you are not looking to spend too much I think is a very good deal.

Well I hope this helps you,
Take care
it's pretty good, not that fast though
It looks great for a general computer setup, but it depends what you want to do with it.
Looks good, but get a warranty!
yes it fair ... i dont like the graphics really though ... but it does have a pcix slot so u could add a good card later ...
Heck yes it is good! It has great stats and looks like it will perform great. You shouldn't have to worry about anything on that computer, but you may want to add a graphics card just to be safe when you play games.
yeah. good high memory, Vista, and didnt u see that graph? it had OVERALL 4.8 on it.
Yes it is. But the question is do you need such a powerful computer when a cheaper one would suffice? What do you intend to use it for?
Yep, that's a pretty good computer for the price. Should run like a champ. We use HP's at work and I'm happy since I hardly ever have to fix them. That configuration should be nice and speedy and has plenty of storage space.
HP (Hewlett Packard) are good reliable well-known computers.
I have never had any problems with mine.
That looks like a reasonable deal.

You may want to add a video card down the road if you decide to play the best new games, but the hard drive size, dvd drive, processor and such all look good.

Front side BUS speeds are getting faster than 800 these days, but you probably won't notice it much in the long run.

If you do general computing, web surfing, casual (not hard core) gaming, and the like, this would be a great computer for you, at a competitive price.
Yes looking at the specs it is VERY good, especially if you are a heavy user wanting to do many things at once without compromising speed. Also Vista Home Premium is probably the best Vista to have on a normal PC as it has pretty much everything. The price is also very good the speed of disk is at one of highest 7200 rpm. This truly is a good PC. 2GB SDRAM DDR2 is also amazing, wow if i lived in US i would seriously consider purchasing this for that low low price. :D
Decent for the price. You really should get a video card. If you can afford to spend more and get a computer with at least the following, you won't regret it.
-2Gb RAM
-Core 2 Duo E6400 or AMD Athlon X2 4800 (socket AM2)
-Nvidea Geforce 7600 256mb or better 8600 GT if you game.
-7200 rpm hard disk (or 2 5400 rpm in RAID 0)

This would yield an incredible performance gain. Expect $700-900. I would reccomend buying from www.HP.com

This is a legit answer.
ya it looks like a really good computer 2gb memory is really good (plus it can be expanded to 4 later if you want) plus its got a really big hard drive (320 gb) so you can store all your videos, pics ect... and everything it pretty good to especially since its only for like $600, i think youll be happy with it, just remember to get a warranty, trust me its better to be safe than sorry, hope that helped
Every thing is good except for the processor speed. 2.0, that is for laptop not desktop.
It looks like a good laptop, so go for it.
