My laptop's "breaths" are concerning me.?
And sometimes my laptop's screen will just flick onto one color and I'll have to turn it off by holding the power button.
I bought this laptop a year and a month ago, new - why does it do these things? Can I fix the "breaths"? (I'm guessing it would have something to do with the fan.)
I do regularily sweep for worms, viruses, etc.
Answers:
its the power control and fan speed control setting themselves up and thats normal ... it could be that the machine is clogged with dust internally also so check into it ... the screen is another problem maybe u need to reinstall ur video driver ... and turning a laptop off by holding the power button can damage the system and corrupt the harddrive so you shouldnt do it ..
hmmmmm, im no expert but it sounds like it could be a problem with it overheating.
you are going to need help here.take it to best buy and let the geek squad look at it.they are good.
i think the speed of the fan is too high
If there was too big heat in your computer there is posibility that main board capacitors are damaged - this can influence screen blanking and other instability. Try checking CTRL+ALT+DELETE - Task manager how much normally your computer cpu is busy, maybe it is very busy smth like 99 % or near it, then look at the cpu indicator try to move different windows - look how it reacts. If there is smth uncomon happening i offer to go to computer repair office (dunno how it is nin english).
