Core 2 Duo 1.5 Ghz ,2 GB RAM Vs Core 2 Duo 1.73 Ghz , 1 GB RAM?
Keep In Mind That RAM can be upgraded to 2 GB later !
Answers:
if you don't upgrade the 1 gig to 2 gigs, then obvious winner is first one.
if you do upgrade the 1 gig to 2 gigs, then the second one is better.
i dont think there is a 1.5GHz core 2 duo, are we talking laptop or desktop?
depends on the operating system , 1gb is fine for xp
there probably wouldn't be a very noticable difference if both systems had 2 gigs of ram,
But the slightly slower proceessor of 1.5 would be way faster than a 1.73 if it had twice as much ram in it.
All new computers are ridiculously overpowered making them a lot more expensive than theyshould be. It is a matter of selling people more than what they need in order to maximize profits.
If you are creating special effects for a Hollywood film or rendering animation for the next Pixar film, then get the faster computer and upgrade the RAM. Otherwise, get the less-expensive computer and use the extra money for software.
