No Audio Output Device Install?

I updated windows vista and the audio and it tells me that i have "no audio output device installed"!! how can i resolve this problem?

Answers:
Go into your device manager to see if you have a driver installed for the hardware. Try you manufacturers website for updated drivers.
Also, the audio drivers may have gone out of date and you may need to update them (common with pcs not configured for vista.)
Check what type of sound card you have. It may be the driver for your sound card is not compatible with windows vista, try checking your sound card manufacturer for any updated drivers. You can try going to Device manager, look for sound, video game controller, check if your sound card driver is listed, you may also try uninstalling and reinstalling the Audio driver.
