Does it have Windows on it. If so, for $250 it's good, but don't expect to play games on it. If you want to play any reasonably new computer games you're gonna need to spend around triple that at least.

Wow thats not bad! 1.6 Ghz processor might be a little bit slow, but 512 RAM and 30 GB space is enough for most games. If you're in to heavy 3D games, you might need another graphics card.

its ok for that for that price but need to be upgrade with more rams and a decent video cards, if u want to play today games

you cannot play today's video games with that thing.$250 is too much for that. 30gb is too small. It might be ok for BASIC computer use like internet or typing files.
It doesn't have a lot of memory, and besides that, it's a Dell, so that's why you shouldn't get it. Instead, you should get a high quality Toshiba laptop. I would highly recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092. I have one, and I love it.
