Is a MAC for me?
Answers:
Mac would definitely be better for a university student. That's what MacBooks were designed for, for portability and a budget-friendly price for students. I do not think, however, that you should get an iBook. Try getting a new MacBook. One of the good things with Mac is that if you ever need to work with Word documents (or Microsoft Office for that matter), you can always buy Office 2004 for Mac. They have a student & teacher edition of Office for Mac that is about $150 opposed to the standard edition of Office for Mac, which runs for about $400. Macs will really help you with school work because you can use the internet securely and not worry about getting a virus or worm or trojan or whatever. And, Macs will save you a lot of money on anti-virus software that would otherwise slow-down your computer and decrease it's performance. So, in the long-run, yes it does matter if you choose between a PC or Mac. I highly recommend getting a MacBook for your school work. Macs will be a lot more reliable and trustworthy along the way. Good Luck with your decision!!
i think a pc would be better, macs screw up a lot.
MAC! they are very simple to use and are less prone to virus infections =0 macs are sooo simple to use i would never think about buying a pc again!
Purchasing a Windows operated laptop is better because then, you wouldn't have trouble with compatibility issues. I'm currently a University student, and trust me, this is definitely the better way.
Are u looking for a Style factor or a compatibilty factor?
Are you familiar with Windows or the MAC Os?
Do you use Word and other MS products for File handling or other MAC softwares?
The final choice rests on the question for the above. A MAC in general looks cool and its a good one for Audio professionals and gadget crazy ppl who love them and adore them. The Laptop is as essential thing nowadays and ppl use it whenever n wherever they are to get connected...Since ur going to study English, there should be documentation and it would be better done with a Laptop loaded with MS Operating system and Office...Most of the laptops are MS based ones and compatibility and the no. of application which can be used are much in number...hope this helps.
No. Instead of a Mac, you should get a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092.
