my auntie want to reformat it but i press the boot then suddenly the screen change and ouputs only an underscore? what? i don't know what to do.. can anyone help me?
Answers:
you need to use a boot disk to load the CD ROM drive then reinstall windows
try booting in safemode to see if you can get in. press F8 as the system boots up. If that doesn't work, try F2 to get into the BIOS. The underscore is normally just showing you that it's trying to boot. Otherwise, you will have to reformat the drive.
