I need major help... My Laptop is a Gateway, and that is all i know.
1. How can I tell what the Model and Specs are?
2.If possible,what card I should I get?
(is ExpressCard good?

Answers:
What you want is SO EASY to do on a desktop but almost impossible to do on a laptop. Very few laptops have the capability to slot in a discrete graphics card and those special cards are also rare and expensive.
Right-click My Computer
click Properties.

The bottom portion of the screen should tell model number and any relevant information.

PCI-Express is very good.
Gateway what? P3, P4, etc... What is your Ram, etc. Got a DVD drive, not enough info.
video cards are not usually upgradeable on laptops since they are intergrated into the motherboard.
