Why is it that i can get the pictures to play on my laptop but not the video's off my camera?
Answers:
Videos require different software to play than pictures. Can you upload and NOT play them, or can you not upload them onto your laptop at all?
Maybe it's worth checking the manual/guide that came with your camera?

you might not have the correct media software
have you set it to sync your videos to your laptop
try and use the software you got with the camara or get a converting program like FLV to AVI MPEG WMV 3GP MP4 iPod Converter thats what i use for my camara
you must get some kind of error message when you try to play the videos ?
would be nice if you could post this .
if you dont get an error message then you need to open help and support which every copy of windows has and read that.
start>help&support>index> type in "playing video"
help and support has been part of windows since before 95.try it some time you may just find all the help you need is already infront of you.
