I need a new keyboard for my laptop?

As a general rule of thumb take anything PC World tell you with a pinch of salt!
As mentioned already, the individual keys can be clicked back in place. Some might need you to position a spring or folded flap over, but worth it.
If the whole of the keyboard has come loose this should clip back in pretty simply. So long as the connectors have not been damaged should go back in fine.
Dell are not the cheapest company to do repairs, but it is worth sending them an e-mail asking for a quote on the keyboard only and if they fit it. Really should not be difficult to fit it yourself.
I've had a key or two come off before now. If you look carefully, and you do need nimble fingers you can press them back on. There are tiny little ridge type things that they click into.
