Battery doesn't hold charge.?

Answers:
Any rechargeable battery will wear eventually after it's been recharged enough time. If your battery will no longer hold a charge, it's time to replace it.
After a few years, batteries no longer hold charge (laptops, even rechargeable batteries).
Batteries do that when they get old/go bad. Unless it isn't getting the juice it needs to charge, it's probably time to get that one refurbished, buy a refurbished one, or buy a new one. :) Sorry.
This can be amended most of the time by letting your battery run all the way out.
Then, while the notebook is turned off,
plug it to your adapter and let it charge completely.

If this doesn't work, you may need a new battery.

I hope this helps
My recommendation: Replace the battery, and from now on, when you buy a laptop, buy a replacement battery that you ALWAYS must keep uncharged. When the first battery starts to wear out, use the second and recycle the first with a battery recycling program.
