my computer worked fine with the old bad dvd drive, and everything booted correctly, it just wouldnt burn dvd or cds anymore.
After i installed my new drive, the computer would stall shortly after the gateway splash screen. I pressed f10 to get to teh boot menu, no luck. It just takes me to a screen with the computers specifications. I see the drive i installed listed there. so it is recognized.but why is my notebook not booting to windows desktop? Thank you all in advance for your time!
