i bought this computer and its toshiba so how good is it compared to sony, HP, dell and other major company?
its notebook with 1.73 GHz, 2 GB DDR2 and 1MB L2 catche

we're on our 2nd Toshiba notebook. maybe the higher priced Sony would be tougher and better built -- maybe.
otherwise, afaik, you get about what you pay for in major brands and Toshiba, Dell, HP are all major brands.
