I am trying to install windows 95 on a toshiba satellite 300cdt without success. please help.?

put win95 install cd into drive, reboot the pc, follow prompt instructions.
why on hell do you want win95 for ?
because windows 95 is old and it will rob your computer of its dignity

Where do you live that's 12 years behind everybody else?
Are you stuck in a timewarp?
You may have to check that the Toshiba BIOS allows you to boot from CD-ROM... watch the start up screens for Press F2 or DEL or F12 to enter SetUp... then go looking for the Boot Priority or Boot Order and make sure that CD-ROM is above IDE or HDD-0.
Otherwise, find the floppy disk that came with the Windows 95 CD and use it to begin the installation process... it has teh CD-ROM drivers needed to start it.
What version of Win95 are you installing? 95, A, B or C?
