Mac laptop or desktop? Post your opinion here!?

Is portability inportant? If so, then your only recourse is a laptop.
I have a G5 Tower and a PowerBook G4. I use both. The G5 gets the heavy work load because it's raw power, and a 23" Cinema Display.
The PowerBook is my on the go presentation machine, and portable editing lab.

iMac - hands down. Tried it all, Alex, use my experience and don't make costly mistakes.

i have a macbook and i love it. if you want more power and storage (bigger HD) you should get a desktop. if you're mostly gonna' use it at home a lot more than on the go then the new imac all the way. but if you're on the go and need a nice laptop get the macbook. if you need more than the macbook than go for the macbook pro ( i think it's a little pricey though). you can always get a macbook and upgrade your RAM. you should get whatever suits your needs and lifestyle.
