I have a Dell Inspiron 600m. Well the problem is the connection plug in? Where you go to plug in the ac adapter to the jack on the latop. Well the jack part in the laptop is loose. So the ac adapter can't stay plug'd in. Everytime it's plug'd in and if you bump it, it shuts the laptop off. You have to hold it in place and be very still. Does anyone know aprox. how much this will cost me to fix? Remeber it's the part built into the laptop. Not the power cord it's self.

You pay $39 for diagnosis and then repair cost starting at $159 for anything except motherboards and LCDs, which are subject to an additional charge.
This means your repair would cost about $200 or more
