How do u know what type of model number of the wireless card ur having?
I need the model number or the full name of the card, or anything about the card, so i can download the driver for it
Answers:
if it is external - it will be on the bottom of the card
( make sure you note the version ( v) as well as the miodel
different versions of the same card have different drivers that may not work
for example linksys model .. version or v 4
( if it 4.1 the 1 is only a minor upgrade the 4 is what matters)
2) if it is internal then go to the specs of the model at the manufacturer
look at their downloads of drivers
3) these diagnostic programs might tell you

if you are really stuck - especially if it is a desktop
look at the physical card
if a laptop if it is internal then the card is usually in a slot on the bottom easy to get at
antenna is in the lid
you should be able to tell by looking at the card , or looking at iit
This is usually not a problem in setting up wi fi cards
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Device Manager
There should be a Network Cards category which will show your wireless card.
Go here:

Select Free Programs from the menu. You'll then want to download Karen's Computer Profiler.
(when you get to the download page, you'll see a note saying you'll also have to download and install Visual Basic Runtime Engine v6. Do so).
It's not really complicated. This will only take a couple of minutes, and this profiler will tell you everything you ever want to know about your computer.
