Follow this procedure to troubleshoot this issue:
1.Confirm that the issue is not being caused by installing the Microsoft Windows Security Update Program MS04-032 (KB840987).
2.For troubleshooting purposes, disable all applications or utilities that may be running in the background and then try to use SonicStage. If it works correctly, you may need to disable that application or utility before using SonicStage.
3.If the SonicStage software functioned correctly at one time, it is likely that another application or utility that was installed is conflicting with it. Uninstall any application or utility that may have been installed prior to point when the issue started occurring.
4.Make sure that your computer is free from spy ware; for more information, please visit the Microsoft security Web site.
5.Uninstall and then reinstall the most recent version of the SonicStage® software.
NOTE: Prior to uninstalling and reinstalling SonicStage, use the SonicStage backup tool to backup your information.
6.If the issue is still not resolved, it is possible that your Windows installation is corrupt and will need to be reinstalled. Contact the manufacturer of your computer for reinstallation procedures.
NOTE: Before performing any type of reinstallation, always back up important files/information
