Hp dv6500t special edition or dell 1520 for college?

this is the EXACT dilemma I was in. For a while I thought the special edition is way better. But the battery life of it is HORRIBLE. It also attacts finger prints like crazy. The whole laptop is atually plasticy, and it feels kind of cheap. There is no latch to hold it closed, so it is not a firm closing. The HP notebook comes with a 1.3 mp webcam but the 1520 comes with a 2.0 mp. Also the dell 1520 is cheaper but has better performance as well. and you could also customize its color. You get blue or white or red or black or whatever. The battery life of the inspiron dell is also very excellent. The only con to the 1520 is that it is just a tad bit heavier than the hp. about a fourth of a pound. so i say... Make sure you can get the same parts on both of them. Customize one with everything you want, then see if the components are the same. Both are comparable.
