This is what you need to do to speed up your computer.

If thats a new laptop the you need to upgrade the RAM atleast to 1Gb.But 2GB ram would be even faster.

If your laptop is an old one then

1) run your anti virus and spyware etc, then delete them
2)Do a disk clean up
3)check of your comp requires a disk defragmentation.if so do it.
4)delete all the unnecessary programms that you dont use.
5)check which programes are present during start up.. go to widows-run-msconfig--last tab startup. and uncheck the unnecessary programs.
6)check which programs are running in the background. open the command window and type services.msc and then right click on the one which you dont want to run in the background and opt for manual rather than automatic.

CAUTION:before going ahead with steps 5 and 6 dont forget to carefully get rid of programs .If you dont know the process of any program then google it and find out what thats for and then follow the steps.

goodluck.!
you can get extreme fast laptops without paying for the high speed, there is upgrades that u can do that use really low quality parts so i would never advise doing it that way.
i would spend a decent amount of money on good brand like dell/hp etc..
Cheap and fast are not synonymous.
You're going to hate me for this, but you really do need to work on your spelling. You may be a kid, but if you want people to take you seriously, you need to communicate a bit more maturely. The word is "school" not "skool." The word is "please" not "pleez." And so on.

To answer your question, the usual problem with computers is that there's just too much junk on them. If a lot of software has been installed, there may simply be too much running. Unless you're an expert at such things, the best thing to do is backup, get out your computer's rescue disk, and reformat the whole thing. Then, install only what you absolutely need. For most families, this is a web browser and a word processor.

Or, you may simply have an older or lower-end machine that can't run the kind of things you want to run (e.g. games). If that's the case, there's little you can do without spending money. Adding more RAM may help. If the laptop runs Windows XP and there's less than 512MB, this could be your problem. If you're running Vista, don't bother with under 2GB.
