Can you connect pc to lcd tv through s-video cord,to use it as an additional monitor?

Both tv and pc have ports and are now connected but i cant seem to figure it out from here.

Answers:
If you have a nvidia graphics card - download the latest drivers then right click on desktop and select "NVIDIA control panel" then under displays on the left hand side choose "setup multiple displays" then you can activate a second monitor in there.
deppending on what graphics card u have u can configure it from your graphics control center.
Well you can. Because both TV and PC have the S-Video port. But the picture will not be as good as you see on the monitor screen.

Good Luck,
I assume you are using XP? Go to control panel -display -advanced - monitor and you should be able to scroll through monitor choices.
The picture quality may not be to good because it will be a lower resolution than what a real monitor of that size would be.
I have a Samsung 32" LCD tv with VGA inputs and the PC picture quality sucks compared to the 22" lcd monitor I normally use.
when you plug-in the cord. click on Fn + F7
its usually F7 (u'll know the right function button from the drawing on it), it allows you to switch screens..
