Two Monitors, One PC, Basics Covered, What now?
Answers:
Well, by going thru the settings mode of desktop, you can extend your desktop, that's what I do. I'm not sure of the benefits of displaying the same thing on both screens. To do this, you would need a program, like what came with your card. If it is a Nvidia chipset, then you can download the files. This will allow you to go in and gives you more options with your desktop displays to make them so that you can display the same thing (clone) on both monitors.
thatz greedy
I'm kinda confused? Are you saying the other monitor doesn't work ie. you cant do anything with it?

mouse not working on one monitor ?
This kind of depends on which side your monitor is on. I assume you've put it on the left side, and are trying to move the mouse to the left side of the screen to switch. When in fact, by default windows acts as if the monitor is on the right side of the primary one. So try draging the mouse all the way to the right and see if it ends up on the other screen.
If it does, and you want to change this right click the desktop click properties -> settings. Then simply drag the "monitor image" (meaning the little numbered 2 box) from the right side over to the left.
Note: Be careful where you drop the box, you'll want it to be even with the other one (if the same resolution). If not, you'll probably want to line up the top or bottom. (just for convience)
Good Luck
A lot of times also,(besides the Nvidia tip from fullerfyed), you can Restore Down,(up next to Minimize, and the Red X), and drag the screen to the other monitor. Clicking on Identify in your Display Settings window, tells you where your monitors are setting according to your computer. You just drag your second monitor,(2), around to where it's actually sitting,( to the left of (1) or to the right.)
