What is better, a 22" or 20" widescreen monitor if they both have the same resolution?

I am thinking in particular about the new Samsung SM226BW (and 20" version). This may be obvious, but would images be sharper on the smaller screen due to more pixels per inch? And would the pixels be larger on the 22" thus making it look more pixely?

Answers:
If the resolution is 10 by 10 on a 10 by 10 screen you have 1 to 1 resolution if you then increase the screen area you still have only 10 by 10 pixels to cover a larger area an thus make it "pixely" , so in your case the 20" would be better, as there are more pixels per inch.
Bigger is not always better
1440 by 900 on a 19" looked ok to me
the monitor you quoted has Max Resolution: 1680 x 1050 / 60 Hz make sure your graphics card can cope

plus what Prada said is correct too the smaller rsponse time the better

Bigger is not better again
No both are she same resolution so its a no brainier get the 22
go with the response time big tip
It's won't look pixily. But if you want to look at HD videos/pictures, get the smaller screen
Get the 20" widescreen monitor because i had a similar issue but at the end i went for a 20" samsung widescreen monitor with 5ms response time. It was also much sharper than the 22" samsung monitor.
Well the 22 doesn't have that much of a viewable infact they both work out the same, strange but true so take your pick mate no difference between the two.
