You can buy a 46 inch monitor but the refresh rate (8-16ms) is not suitable for gaming.

Gaming monitors usually have a response time of 2-5 ms.
Some monitors will list it a 2 ms grey to grey response time which is really a 5ms response time.

As the 8800 Ultra is the fastest video card available. I would look for a top rated monitor with a response time of close to 2 ms.

What ever you buy, just buy a wide screen one with ratio 16:10.
The Geforce Ultra 8800 has a DVI output. So you can buy a DVI-to HDMI cable and connect it to a HDTV. Some HDTV's come with a DVI port.
