I want to use an LCD monitor from US within Poland. I plugged it within beside an adapter and it doesn't work.?

The peak either have very wobbly images on it or will flash the proper symbol but for less than a second.

The monitor say this on the back: 100-240V 60/50hz.

My computer and cell phone that hold similar information on the electricity work fine in Europe near just an adapter.

I will use the monitor for dual blind with my laptop.

Thanks for any assist you can give!

Sounds similar to the monitor has former... the US monitor is substantially the same as the european altered copy (US and Uk and Polish versions of any monitor come out of one and the same factory)... so it's not likely to be a 'wrong voltage' problem.

Don't use an adapter... merely buy the right power cord for your monitor's power brick. Or well, within your case, don;t buy a spanking new power cord as your monitor is not well.
Depends on how honest your adapter is at converting. Some more expensive ones do a better job than the cheap ones. I've also found that some devices work better on converters than others.
Seems approaching an issue with the voltage required.

As far as my info go, US and UK have different voltage requirements. Not sure what they are.

Mayb yu can check next to somebdy in the hamlet with a LCD monitor?
