How to find out size of my pc monitor without measuring it?
Answers:
~check label on back of monitor,
~without ruler? you would have measured viewable screen from diagonal corners,
~if you know the name and brand of monitor, you could search on web for specifications,
~ check in control panels/ display, and system tools/ system information,
..
check the box?
Really your only option is to guess isn't it. Be honest, you gotta measure it!
compare it to a peice of notebook paper 10.5 inches or dollar bill 6 inches. ive watched the bone collector to many times
read make and model number from monitor case, google it, then goto specifications, job done
Check the back of the monitor for a code number.
Depending on the manufacturer, the code usually indicates the diagonal screen size.
So you might have a Kruse 815 or 817 or 819 for 15, 17 or 19" monitor. And Kruse is a made up name for monitors just for the example.
Once you have the model number, just Google it.
Somewhere you'll see
"Reviewing the new Kruse 654 LCD" with comments on the "clarity of the 19" widescreen" and then you'll know...
