How do I carry my comp. to not get to sleep?

This happen to me and it drove me so crazy I was prepared to throw my computer in the trash. I even hit it fundamentally hard a few times because I be mad. I asked everybody I know, including at a computer store, and they all give me some advice but it didn't work. Finally I figure out for myself what to do, and it worked and my computer has never gone to sleep again.
I'll relay you the advice everyone give me, and then what I terminated up doing that solved it.
If you go to your "Start" button, click on it and step to "Control Panel." Look for the "Power Management" icon, and click on it. If you hold XP it might be under "Performance and Maintenance." You should see some option for leaving your knotty drive on all the time or setting it to "standby" or sleep modes. You can changeover these to all read aloud "never," which SHOULD keep your computer from sleeping.
In my shield this didn't work. It still went to sleep around three times a day. Finally I figure out a simple solution: If you put a screen shareholder up, this stops happening. My computer apparently would move about to sleep whenever some time had passed where on earth it wasn't doing anything. If you put a screen investor up, the computer thinks it's doing something the intact time the screen shareholder is on. In my case it hasn't gone to sleep surrounded by six months!
If you don't know how to get a peak saver, lately click on "Start," then "Control Panel," afterwards "Appearance" (or whatever it would be surrounded by your version of Windows).

go to involved desktop settings and click on screensaver adjust your screen investor to a higer time or you can go to your power settings and transformation your montior to never off.
