Was this a bad idea...?

I have a Westinghouse 17" Flat Panel Monitor, which I bought at about $250. Since I got a laptop, I dont need the monitor so I never really used it. The monitor is in perfect condition and still in the box that it came in. Today someone gave me an offer and I'm selling it for $100. What this a bad idea? Am I selling it at a good price?

Answers:
Still in the box, you should consider taking it BACK to the people that you bought it from.

I resell brand new stuff all the time. A 17" Flat Panel Monitor still in the box is still worth $250. Even for a quick sale, you should seek a $200 price. Don't use on-line prices to figure it's worth. immediate delivery is more valuable. I am certain that you will find friends and relatives that have dorky old CRT type monitors... just ask around.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
if your not going to use it get rid of it..
Sell it just to be safe. You may not get anymore offers.
no sell it for 175 at least.
İ don't understand much. but better get rid of it.
Luckily someone's paying for it.
it is not an LCD screen so never look back.

Edit: İ didn't know that it was an LCD screen, 100 dollars not enough.
:-)
It's a good idea,
You don't use it anyways so why not use the $100 instead.
If you are happy with getting $100, then you are making a good deal.

They are coming down in price all of the time, and 17" aren't very expensive these days.

It really only matters what you think (and a bit on who you are selling it to, hopefully a stranger wasn't browsing through your house making offers.)
sell it for 350 on ebay, so u can make some profit. if its in good condition it should sell fast.
If it was just sitting it was a great price. It wasn't doing you any good collecting dust.
i would go for NO LESS than 75% of what you paid for it. that is, if you haven't waited a couple years to sell it, you barely used it, and it is in excellent condition. in this case it would go for a good $187 or so.
otherwise $125-150 would be a good offer.
sell on ebay
