Does the Plasma TV require any external hardware to act as computer monitor?

Answers:
Yes is need converter between motherboard where the monitor plug in.
If it has a VGA input (monitor) on the back then it should work fine.
it depends on what kind of inputs the TV has and what kind of outputs your computer has,

if your computer has DVI output and your TV has HDMI input you just need a cable that goes from DVI to HDMI, which is probably the most common situation.

if the computer has only VGA and not DVI and your tv has no VGA input, you will need a new video card as well as the DVI to HDMI cable...

sorry of thats alot of confusing abbreviations..
