Why is everything on my computer screen appearing red?

I switched my video card but then after I set everything back up and turned my computer on my computer screen turned all red. Someone please help on what I should do all this red is hurting my eyes.

Answers:
Play around with the cord on the back of the display and see if there's a loose connection, especially if it's Sony.
That used to happen to our Mac, and the video card was dying. I don't think it cost too much to fix it, either. Rather than just red, sometimes it was all tinted yellow, too.
one (or in your case. two) of the monitors lights aren't working. i assume it's a CRT. if so, try bringing up the crt menu using the buttons on the screen, if the menu colors seem fine, then give the monitor a nice hard whack (open palm kung fu movie style) at the top center. that is, not actually on the glass, but on the frame. hit it as hard as you can feeling safe that you won't break it.

my monitor tints yellow from time to time, that one magic whack always does the trick.

if the whack doesn't work, then it's probably not a problem with the monitors lights.
Smack that hahaha smack the monitor nothing changes then could be the connection is not secure
