When I turn off my computer I get a message that says VGA no signal. I have tryed everything.?

I have a HP computer with a 17" HP flatscreen monitor. I am running Windows XP.

Answers:
That means that there is no video signal from your computer to the monitor. that is normal and expected. The monitor is just informing that.

On some monitors, you can disable that message.
Just simply turn off your monitor or the monitor will go into stand-by mode. Nothing to worry about.

The message is from your monitor; when the computer turned off, there is no signal going to the monitor.
If I am not mistaken, that is a normal thing that a monitor does.
When you turn your computer back on, is everything normal? When the computer is turned off and the power to the monitor is on, there isn't ANY VGA signal coming from the computer to the monitor. This is normal. Some monitors will have an added message saying, Your monitor is working properly.
