Monitor help?

Im after getting a new monitor but cant decide which one;

i say go with the samsung because it has a higher contrast ratio of 3000:1 than the acer 800:1 more contrast ratio means more shades of blabk and white which is great if your going to play a game that has good graphics
i like the samsung ... if ur in the states check out newegg .. they have a 22" samsung for half that ..
