Does running a TV as a second monitor damage the TV?

I'm running a 31" CRT JVC TV as an extended desktop. I'm running it at a resolution of 640x480. Is there anyway that this could damage the TV? (The TV is very old, about 10 years.)

Answers:
no, because the signal that enters your TV is the same as video signal, and will not damage your TV.
it should not damage the Tv
The only thing you should be concerned about is "burn in" on the TV since it is CRT. TV monitors have trouble handling the refresh rates of some video devices (game consoles too) so make sure you turn it off when you're not using it and possibly use a screen saver.
It should not affect, since its just a signal to the TV.
