I enjoy a 27" 1080i HDTV and I have hooked it up to my computer through the VGA input on the t.v. (normal input for computer monitors). But it stretches everything to shift widescreen but i want it in 4:3.. How can i do that?
Answers:
Many HDTV's do not allow you to alteration it to 4:3, you will need to set your graphics card on the computer to a widescreen resolution. Hopefully you do own a "recent" graphics card that can do that. All recent Nvidia/ATI cards can do widescreen resolutions.
down load, "powerstrip" it's free ware and it will allow you to adjust the display aspects.
