I can't get it to fill the screen any more. I have tried to go into display and changing the screen resolution and also on the moniter menu it is at 100 for the width. The top to bottom is fine just the width has shrunk. Any ideas

What res and refresh rate have you set it at?
Is it via VGA or DVI?
use the monitors osd menu to adjust ur settings
have you tried the settings button on the monitor itself?
have u had it in the wash (CHECK THE MANUAL OR THE HELP SCREEN)
yeh try the settings on the actual monitor
