How can I change max screen resolution in Ubuntu?

Hello people! I have just installed Wubi and now using Ubuntu. My screen resolution is set to 800x600. I used to have a 1280×1024 resolution on my Windows OS. Please help.

Answers:
System>Preferences>Screen Resolution. If it isn't listed there, then it's because Ubuntu failed to detect the resolution. You can fix that by following this here:
