I have a DELL monitor that I cant seem to get a clear resolution with.?
Answers:
Run a monitor self test first, so you can check if the problem is with the monitor or your computer's video card. To do monitor self test, just remove or disconnect the monitor cable that's connected at the back of your computer. Note: Leave the power cable of your monitor connected. Once you had the monitor data cable unplugged you should see like color bar or colored box floating on the monitor screen, if your monitor still looks blurry there, you should have it replaced by Dell, otherwise if it looks fine on the monitor self test, try uninstalling and reinstalling your video driver.
try messing with the refresh rate it helps sometimes
LCD screens like the Dell 1703 support multiple resolutions, but have native resolutions that will give you the sharpest picture. Running at a resolution that is not the native reolution will look a bit blurry, even with the correct drivers and optimiztion. For your dell screen, the native resolution is most likely 1280x1024. Switching to that will make objects and type smaller, but much sharper.
