Flatscreen fault. Lovely picture but started strobic flashing over whole picture! nf-1800map gr lcd monitor.?

Not computer or graphics card, as monitor is telly as well and that is flashing, maybe it is the 12volt adapter? Went on nFren website, but all in Japanese... Tried the factory reset in menu, nogood! Appreciate help.

Answers:
1st try unplugging and wait a min. then plug back in. You didnt say if it was lcd, plasma or what kind of monitor it was except it was a tv/monitor combo. if lcd it could be the backlight getting ready to go. whereas it is a fairly cheap repair and can be done by the user. just take the front of the screen off and in the bottom right hand corner is a board that controls the back light unplug it and replace with like board plug back in put the screen back on and you are set to go.
Still I would take it to a pro that has equipment to test before doing this.
