My monitor suddenly took on a slight yellow tinge.?

It's not a hardware issue, as the tinge goes away when I use the monitor with my xbox 360, or when I run a computer game. It's a little unnerving, though as it happened so suddenly and without warning. I didn't change the settings, either on the computer or monitor. Please help. It hurts my eyes.

Without getting too jargoney, it could be a couple of problems.

1 - Your graphics card or your integrated graphics is on its way out. I would say it could be this as your monitor is ok with your 360.

2 - Your drivers have become corrupted, so reinstall the drivers or update your drivers.

3 - The colour settings for your graphics card have been changed accidentally.

In order to fix this I would first try and borrow another monitor off a friend to see if it still happens. If this is the case then I would say that your graphics card needs replacing..
mine went purple. i tried a different monitor cable and it worked ok.
sounds like your monitor is comming to the end of its operating life. this might be a hint that its time to replace it
Ha, it has caught jaundice from a computer virus!
try a new cable. if that doesnt work, i think it would be time for a new monitor
in the RGB settings your green is off......
