Ask: how does one get rid of the pesty "resolution Reminder" that keeps popping up all the time?

on Windows Vista?

Answers:
Go to start\control panel\personalization\display settings.
Choose the resolution you want, then be sure to click "apply" at the bottom of the window.
That should resolve the problem, unless you have chosen a resolution that your video card or monitor will not support.
