My monitor isn't working...?
My monitor has been working fine for the last 2.5 years. One day, it just wouldn't switch on.
So I decided to change monitors, but nothing came up.
If I unplug my monitor and then reconnect it, a white screen comes up and says to shut down type shut down and to continue booting type mac-boot.
So when i type in mac-boot, it leads me to a new page that says command to big.
So i have to shut it down..
any suggestions as to what's wrong with the computer..?

The fact that it is showing you stuff, means the 2nd monitor is working. I guess It's probably telling you Mac-Boot is too long for system. Sorta sounds like something on DOS, when you type in commands at the DOS prompt. But I'm not a Mac guy so don't know for sure.
Kill it with a power surge?
a. dont buy a mac
b. buy a windows crap box, or do the proper thing and build your own.
c. build your own box, and put a distro of linux on there with a GUI, because you dont seem computer savvy
d. find a computer manufacturer who will build you a crap box with a preloaded version of a linux distro on there (most likley ubuntu)
e. dont follow any of my advice, because you have no idea what im talking about
f. do the stupid thing and waste your money on another mac.
g. destroy your mac, and never buy another computer from apple again.
