Need help fast- How to get two monitors to show the same thing?

I have a standard monitor and a projector which I want to show the same as the monitor. I'm using Windows XP. Thanks.

To do this your Video card will need to have more than one video out connector.
Now it depends on your video card, however with my Nvidia 7900gs you do the following.
1/ Open Display in Control Panel
2/ Select Settings, then the Advanced Button
3/ Select your video card model Tab, thenthe Start Nvidia Control Panel
4/Select Display, then Multiple Displays
5/ Change Display Configuration and make selection.

Hope this helps

1.Right-click out on a open area of your desktop.
2.Left-click on Properties in the window that appears.
3.Left-click on Settings.
4.Left-click on the number 2 icon that is 'shaded'
5.Left-click in the box at the bottom that says,"Extend My Desktop to This Monitor."
6.Restore down your window you have open, and drag it over to the other monitor.
