Why is the text on my computer screen so small?

Ctrl + or - doesn't always work depending on how the website is coded. It works on some when they define the text like a text editor does, similar to 12 pt font. Ctrl + and - just basically increase the size of the font.
Sometimes though, the font is defined by pixels, and these can't be changed, because your computer monitor always displays the same amount of pixels on the screen at one time. One way to always get a larger font is to change the resolution of your monitor.
Right click on the desktop (assuming you have a PC, I don't know about macs) > Properties > Settings > and lower the Screen Resolution. The downside is you can't see as many things on screen at the same time, so you have to find a balance.

open internet then click view then text size then make it medium or watevr u like best (mines medium)

Your screen resolution may be set too high for you.
Assuming you have a PC:
Right click anywhere on your desktop background.
Go to Properties.
Then go to the Settings tab and at the bottom you'll see a slider under Screen Resolution. Slide it to at least 1024 x 768 and then click on APPLY.

go to start and click on the control panel and go to display properties and then go to appearence and see if you can fix it there if you cant you might have to call your computer company or if they gave you computer discs when you got your computer it may be in there but your still gonna need step by step instruction by your computer company and why do you want to know the country people are in...im not trying to be mean but it seems a little creapy knowing it has nothing to do with the question
Firefox user: The CTRL++ brings up your font text larger or you need to go under Tools/Options/Fonts&colors/man... change font size to what you want it to be/click on OK. It should reset it self to that size font as default.
If the text on the internet's small, you can click the 100% button on the bottom right.
or if you're talking about the whole computer, you can make it bigger by:
right click on the desktop
click properties
click appearance
click advanced
and see from the drop down list and make stuff bigger...
or you can magnify it by clicking start,
all programs,
accessories,
accesability
and magnify.
