When i connect the monitor to the vista pc?

is stays on standby mode, but on the xp it loads up normally, any ideas people

hi there it may be that you need to check the plugs are plugged in properly/ correct place. if thats not the case then try turning off and on the screen, theres a small button (comp screen)

Sounds like you didn't tell Vista to look for a different sort of monitor - MS OS can be funny about being told whether to use the analog or DIV-x port.

Simple fix is to tell Vista you have a "default monitor" to get it going on the new one and then fine tune afterwards
